Explosion Claims 3 Law Enforcement Officers Amid Property Removal Procedure in the Verona Area
Three members of law enforcement lost their lives and at least 15 others were hurt in a seemingly intentional blast caused by gas at a rural property in the northern part of Italy.

The explosion occurred as police and firefighters approached the property in the vicinity of the city of Verona to enforce an court-ordered eviction for a brother and sister trio in their late 50s and mid-60s.
Each of the three deceased individuals belonged to the Italian military police.

One male and one female were taken into custody at the site and another man who ran away following the explosion was located not long after. Each of them have been admitted to medical facility.
